The Playorium Open Series Online: A Resounding Success!
The second edition of the Playorium Open Series took place online with a resounding success! This edition saw a massive growth in participation, with a 90% increase, from 713 to 1,357 players. The number of matches played also more than tripled, from 328 to 1,008, demonstrating the community's engagement and passion for Playorium.
The Competition Format
The Playorium Open Series online was organised around a simple yet effective format. Players had to go through 8 online qualifying rounds to qualify for the final phase. The top 16 players were selected to participate in the final phase, which took place over a single day. The final phase consisted of a group stage and playoffs, where players had to battle it out to win the championship title.
An European Competition
The Playorium Open Series online was a true European competition, with players from France, Belgium, Germany, and Bulgaria qualified for the event. This diversity added an extra dimension to the competition, with players from different backgrounds competing against each other to win the championship title.
